Jeet Kune Do is An Effective Fighting System

Jeet Kune Do translates as the “Way of the Intercepting Fist.” Developed by martial arts master and human phenom Bruce Lee, Jeet Kune Do combines the fighting tactics of multiple disciplines including traditional Kung Fu, Western Boxing, fencing, trapping and grappling, Chin Na, and Wing Chun. In JKD, the goal is to take what is effective form other systems and combine them into a useful dynamic fighting style.

Jeet Kune Do Teaches Effective Self-Defense Techniques

When creating JKD, Bruce Lee pulled from other disciplines, retaining certain techniques and approaches while dropping others.  He wanted to be free to fight in a style that was truthful to him and fighting realities. As a result, JKD is one of the most effective martial arts systems out there. It is a strong, efficient street combat style that can be used by all individuals regardless of size and more importantly, regardless of the size of their opponent.
